Albatross has developed a desiccant-assisted air conditioning system that can be used in commercial facilities and can operate in conjunction with existing HVAC systems. Unlike a conventional vapor compression refrigeration-based air conditioning system which relies on overcooling the air (dew point cooling) to dehumidify it to comfortable levels, our systems use desiccant materials to directly absorb moisture from the air to alleviate the existing inefficiency.
